Who we are!
Ruth E.
as she spells it, but I call her my wife,
Ruthie
Panamajack
actually, just Jack
What we've done
We lived, worked and travelled all over the eastern Caribbean and our perfect place in the sun proved ever-elusive so,
heeding Horace Greeley's advice to "go west young man"---we did!
Searching from Cartagena Colombia to Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The choice soon became very obvious
that Panama was the place!
We sailed back to Florida, where we sold our sailboat and started the process of actually finding our "perfect place" in
Panama. Visiting Panama (by plane) we searched the Pacific side for property and finally found our fourteen acre
paradise. Now we are in the process of developing it.
Ruthie, a licensed Realtor, has established a business in David, Panama and will be catering to the needs of those who
wish to purchase real estate in Panama while I will be using my skills as a builder to develop our property.
So there you have our story, albeit greatly abbreviated.
If you have any questions about us, our project or, if you would just like to "chat", drop us an email and we will be glad
to help you in anyway we can.
Below I have placed a couple of photos of our boat "Davina", our last home and our "mode of transportation"
through-out the Caribbean plus some "memory" photos.
For those of you who wish to know "who or what" is behind the name Davina, the answer is simple---it was the name of
my mother (1907-1988). We never got to travel together so we took her along in spirit. (Hasta que nos volvamos a ver!)
